Dillinger Hütte takes over the business operations of SHC Stahlhandelscenter Heilbronn GmbH.

Dillinger Hüttenwerke, considered Europe’s leading manufacturer of heavy plate, has acquired the business operations of the medium-sized steel trading and distribution specialist SHC Stahlhandelscenter Heilbronn GmbH (hereinafter: SHC) from Baden-Württemberg. The buyers were advised by the law firm PPR & Partner from Düsseldorf, while RellermeyerPartner advised SHC on the sale of its assets.

With economic effect from 1 October 2024, the stock corporation of Dillinger Hüttenwerke, has acquired all of the assets belonging to the business operations of SHC, a company specializing in the storage and distribution of heavy plate and cut-to length plate, through a subsidiary. This further strengthens Dillinger Hütte, which is considered the largest heavy plate plant in Europe, in its core business and adds additional sales expertise in this sector.

The buyer was advised and represented by Dr. Theo Rauh from the Düsseldorf commercial law firm PPR & Partner.
