rellermeyer advises DKV EURO SERVICE GmbH + Co KG on the establishment of the joint venture Charge4Europe

The Düsseldorf law firm RellermeyerPartner Rechtsanwälte mbB advises DKV EURO SERVICE GmbH + Co KG on the establishment of the joint venture Charge4Europe with innogy SE.

DKV EURO SERVICE and innogy have decided to set up a joint venture in order to offer comprehensive supply solutions for operators of commercial electric fleets throughout Europe. The companies involved signed a corresponding agreement in December 2018, the effectiveness of which being subject to the approval of the relevant regulatory authorities. DKV EURO SERVICE and innogy will each have a 50% stake in Charge4Europe.

As part of the joint venture, DKV EURO SERVICE and innogy will jointly develop a Europe-wide roaming network of public charging points for e-fleets. The Europe-wide roaming network of Charge4Europe will be offered to B2B-customers as a white label technology service. This will enable them to launch electric mobility products and sell them under their brand name on the market to their own customers. In order to be able to offer its customers solutions for charging at home and at work (@home, @work), DKV EURO SERVICE will also enter a sales partnership with innogy in addition to the joint venture. This will enable DKV customers to purchase wallboxes and charging stations, have them installed at home and at their workplace and pay transparently via their employer.
