RellermeyerPartner advises DKV EUROSERVICE GmbH + Co KG on the formation of a joint venture with T-Systems International GmbH and Daimler AG for Europe-wide truck toll billing

T-Systems International GmbH, Daimler AG and DKV EURO SERVICE GmbH + Co KG have set up a joint venture for the development and provision of European electronic toll services (‘EETS’) for vehicles over 3,5t. The joint venture had previously been cleared by all antitrust authorities.

T-Systems has a 55% stake in the company, which operates under the name Toll4Europe GmbH, Daimler holds 30% and DKV 15%. Toll4Europe will thus be managed by T-Systems, which will contribute its more than 14 years of toll experience to the joint venture and will be responsible not only for technology but also for sales at service providers. Daimler will contribute its expertise for the future integration of the on-board unit into the vehicle. DKV will contribute more than 25 years of experience in the toll business as well as their know-how in billing 30 european tolls for currently 140,000 customers.
